Butter dish

Caja, with its unmistakably Nordic design, evokes Denmark’s coastal strips. The exceptionally flat plates in this series mirror Denmark’s geologically flat landscape. The handcrafted irregularities are accentuated by a matte effect glaze in off-white. The exposed, unglazed areas recall sandy beaches at sunset. Caja is made of stoneware. The color of the unglazed sections is inspired by amber found on Danish beaches. Stoneware is very durable and therefore suitable not only for everyday use but also for gastronomy.
